昨晚下班後，AllThingsD新發表的一篇文章《Apple's Next Event to Be Held on October 4, Starring Its New CEO》指出Apple的新任執行長（CEO）Tim Cook將在10月4日週二（即台灣時間10月5日）發表iPhone 5。
While Apple could certainly change its plans anytime, sources said that the Oct. 4 date has been selected by the company to showcase the iPhone 5. Sources added that the plan is now to make the new device available for purchase within a few weeks after the announcement.
這篇文章很快被各大小媒體引用，到今天早上似乎儼然已成定案。
不過，截至目前為止，所有源自AllThingsD的消息與轉述都沒有得到Apple官方的正面回應。
老實說，如果我是Apple的員工，特別是負責行銷公關方面的人，應該是很樂於見到這種熱絡揣測的盛況，而且，最好就是都不要回應媒體的詢問，讓他們繼續補風捉影兩個禮拜。
