之前有一篇文章《備受排擠的魔獸玩家》，曾經提到一個因為玩魔獸而在面試時不被公司錄用的例子。
不過，魔獸這款付費玩家超過千萬人的遊戲大作到底不是好惹的。
在《Massively Multiplayer Employment: Singapore Recruiters Not Avoiding WoW Players》這篇文章裡，明白提到新加坡海峽時報在耶誕前夕的一篇特稿《WoW fan? Youll still get hired》表示：全球備受排擠的魔獸玩家，如果找不到工作，就到不會排擠魔獸玩家的新加坡吧。
For now, telling a prospective employer that one plays video games 'would not raise alarm bells', and gamers 'should not feel the need to lie...dishonesty is not a condonable way to increase one's chances of landing a job', said Ms Yap.
不知道在全球經濟不景氣的前提下，會不會真的有備被排擠而找不到工作的魔獸玩家因此移民到新加坡呢？
